A large, well-known Design-Build Engineering & Construction Firm is hiring an MEP Project Manager to join their team immediately. This position is open to support a large, $650 million project in Berwick, PA over the next 3-5 years. After that project concludes, this individual will support engineering projects through the Greater Philadelphia area, Southern New Jersey, and Lehigh Valley.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support to a single large project or multiple projects
• Self-performing work, so you'll need to work with craftsman, foreman and the owner
• Plan out projects from start to finish with an understanding of all of the moving parts involved and what it takes to manage the process
• Utilize your LEAN principles and have a keen understanding of what the owner wants and how we can deliver it
• Play a key role in managing the financials and making sure the project stays on track
• Develop and nurture customer relationships beyond a single project – at Southland, we value customers for life.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in construction, engineering, or technical discipline, or 15 years experience working for MEP firm on multiple MEP projects.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project management for Mechanical construction projects
• Experience and expertise in managing HVAC, Piping, Plumbing and Electrical (MEP)
• Experience running a job, tracking production in the field and forming and managing relationships through other vendors
